PLEASE NOTE THIS TUTORIAL IS FOR EARLY VERSIONS OF MICROSOFT WORD AND PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS. AN UPDATED TUTORIAL WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON. SOME COMMANDS IN PHOTOSHOP WILL BE DIFFERENT.
Here is a very easy tutorial on how to create images for your portfolio, including the captions, using Microsoft Office Word 2003 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. If you don't have Photoshop Elements, you can adapt this process to any photo software program that will allow you to import an image into a word document.
This method is easier than creating the portfolio image in Photoshop, although you cannot use the word document images on your portfolio CD the way you can those created in Photoshop. Each approach will give you polished results.
