Jimmy Springett

Focus is like breathing, if you stop breathing you have a problem, and with focus is likened to breathing.I have been working on duck stamps for a couple of years, yet when i got going this year, i realized earlier this year, while I was painting, I lost my focus on my dusck stamp, thinking my time was ok, actually my time became very short and doing duck stamps requires painting many befor ethe final painting for submission.
If any of you artists have a big project soming up in a year, start now and keep working toward that goal, and you'll be amazed at your productivity and creativity in getting your goals met.

Thanks, Patrice!

Congratulations! Wow, I do love this new painting and understand why it was accepted into the exhibit. Fresh and bright, even in the face of a storm... how appropriate a painting to have displayed alongside this particular post.
Focus is everything.
