I have converted Ancient Wisdom Emerging Artist into a PDF that you can download by following this link. This should solve some of the feed issues cropping up around the presence of Microsoft Word issues in the pages versions.
Because so many blogs have links to the pages, I will not delete them, only the content, and replace it with the link. You will only need to click on one link, though, as the entire book is available.
You can save it to your computers or print it out. Anyone wishing to purchase a printed version please let me know and I will investigate the costs at lulu.com. I know the cost of printer ink and paper can make ordering one a more cost-effective solution, and if there are enough requests I will offer it that way.
Thank you for all the wonderful, supportive comments. I am truly pleased that you are finding inspiration, motivation, and encouragement to pursue your dreams.
This book is merely a starting point in your journey. There are so many wonderful resources on the internet that are available to you, and I encourage you to investigate those that interest you. There is a lot of information, a lot of experience, and while several people can tell you the same basic idea, it's hearing it in all those different modes that sometimes makes a difference.

hi Sue, i just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you! i came across the link to your business plan on Constance's blog. Last year i was given an incredibly opportunity to give up my "day" job and follow dream, to find my arty self again, who i lost nearly 30 years ago. On the very same day i found your plan, i was sitting in my studio, my head full of uncertainty. Your words and advise have given me so much courage, strength & new direction. I believe everything happens for a reason & i was lead to your words for excactly the reason that now i can see that i am indeed doing the right thing. Thank you again. ps: I love your work, it reminds me of work of the scottish colourists -whose work i have always loved.

Hello Sue,
thanks a lot for providing the pdf format with 78 pages. I have never seen such a detailed and sound business plan for artists on the net before.
The tip on keeping a journal of what you do is really great. I never kept a traditional diary until 3 years ago. Since I write down my plans ideas, encounters, successes and failures regarding my artlife. It is amazing what a great source of energy such a diary can be.
